After five weeks at Imperial Textile my time has come. Well, today was just another day of posting to ebay. Monday, one of the owner got nasty, He told me to scan a file and put it in a specific folder in a server. Well, me being new and all I just wanted to confirm he was talking about the right server, he never said server, so I just wanted to make sure he was talking about that and if so to tell him for the 5th time that that server was full, max out, that nothing could be added to it unless we delete something but before I could say all that he tells me "Scott, I said in my scanned folder. I am speaking foreign." He turned walked away and said to him self "god, unbelievable". Also, their network is all messed up. They have one login for everyone(11 people) not very secure, so I told them that I can clean it up, give everyone their own login and password and have a roaming accounts which I can do. Well, today they bring in a computer contractor and told everyone that this was their new "computer guy" to call on. So, what is my job? I was supposed to do all the network admin stuff and web design stuff, all for $9/hr, yes it's low, but it's a job so I took it. I haven't touched their web site. And I've created a catalog, which is more graphic designer stuff, which cool, Interesting, but I don't have experience in that area. Other than that all I've been doing is posting to ebay. So, it's time to move on. I'm probably going to go back to contract jobs, if any, until something full time perm. comes up. I am also going to give my own business, www.buffalocomputerhelp.com well see how that goes.
